KEPEMIMPINAN VISIONER DALAM PENDIDIKAN TINGGI: MENGELOLA PERUBAHAN DAN MENDORONG KINERJA AKADEMIK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan visioner dalam meningkatkan kinerja akademik STISIPOL Yaleka Maro Merauke serta mengembangkan strategi adaptif untuk mengatasi tantangan infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, dan kebijakan di wilayah 3T. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menggali secara mendalam penerapan kepemimpinan visioner dalam membentuk budaya akademik yang inovatif dan responsif terhadap kebijakan pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode tematik dengan triangulasi sumber guna meningkatkan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner di STISIPOL Yaleka Maro Merauke berperan penting dalam merumuskan visi strategis, memperkuat tata kelola institusi, serta mendorong inovasi dalam pembelajaran dan penelitian. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat tantangan berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, serta resistensi terhadap perubahan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih optimal, seperti peningkatan kapasitas kepemimpinan, penguatan budaya akademik yang kolaboratif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam tata kelola institusi. Dengan demikian, kepemimpinan visioner dapat menjadi faktor kunci dalam memastikan keberlanjutan transformasi akademik di perguruan tinggi yang berada di daerah 3T.
