PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA BAHASA ARAB SISWA MELALUI MEDIA KARTU DI MTS N 1 SUNGAI PENUH

Kemampuan berbicara (maharah kalam) merupakan keterampilan fundamental dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, namun masih menjadi tantangan bagi sebagian besar siswa, khususnya di tingkat madrasah. Rendahnya penguasaan kosakata dan minimnya keberanian siswa dalam berbicara menjadi hambatan utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penggunaan media kartu kosakata di MTs N 1 Sungai Penuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes lisan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kartu kosakata mampu meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata, kepercayaan diri, dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam kegiatan berbicara bahasa Arab. Peningkatan signifikan terlihat dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua, baik dalam hal penggunaan kosakata maupun kemampuan menyusun kalimat sederhana hingga kompleks. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan menawarkan alternatif media visual yang efektif dan menyenangkan. Kesimpulannya, media kartu kosakata dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berbicara secara komunikatif dan interaktif. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengombinasikan media kartu dengan teknik pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau kolaboratif untuk hasil yang lebih optimal.
