Gambaran Followership Dalam Organisasi Kesehatan: Sebuah Kajian Studi Literatur Kritis

Dalam organisasi kesehatan, keberhasilan pelayanan tidak hanya bergantung pada kepemimpinan, tetapi juga pada peran pengikut. Meskipun krusial untuk keselamatan pasien dan efektivitas tim, topik followership sering kali kurang mendapat perhatian dibandingkan leadership, baik dalam literatur ilmiah maupun praktik di lapangan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep serta solusi dalam pengaplikasian followership di sektor kesehatan guna memberikan nilai yang setara dengan unsur kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berbasis data Google Scholar, Pubmed, MDPI, NCBI dan ScienceDirect. Setelah proses Screening dari 28.900 artikel, didapatkan hasil finalisasi jumlah artikel sebanyak 22 yang akan direview. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan analisis pada research gap terkait minimnya model intervensi praktis yang mampu mentransformasi perilaku followership dari pola kepatuhan pasif menjadi proaktif-kritis. Hasil kajian menekankan bahwa penguatan literasi kepengikutan secara signifikan meningkatkan keberanian anggota untuk bersuara dan melakukan koreksi kritis saat berada di bawah tekanan tinggi, sehingga berfungsi sebagai pertahanan terakhir dalam memitigasi kesalahan medis. Tak hanya itu, followership memiliki peran terhadap keselamatan dan keamanan terhadap pasien dalam ruang lingkup kesehatan. Peran ini menjadi penting dalam menghadapi situasi yang kompleks untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengikut.
